
Hazelwood police are investigating a brazen Sunday morning incident after security at the bioMérieux campus reported that a man walked into a biotechnology building while armed, then left in a company vehicle. Officers were called to the 500 block of Anglum Road around 11:30 a.m., and surveillance footage from the site appears to show the suspect entering one of the buildings before taking off in a truck.

According to First Alert 4, Hazelwood police say they were dispatched for a burglary in progress after bioMérieux security personnel reported that an unidentified Black man had entered the building armed. Investigators reviewed surveillance video that is believed to show the man going into a building and then leaving in a company truck. Police say no additional details are available at this time, keeping the public in a bit of suspense while the case unfolds.
